The CADS Annual Festival is a fun filled Ski Week held at resorts across the country and this year it is at Kimberley Alpine Resort, Kimberly B.C. Sunday evening March 17th to Friday March 22nd, 2019.


It is a week of adaptive ski & snowboard improvement lessons for all levels, race training, camaraderie, fun games, on snow activities, and a wind up Awards banquet on Thursday.


The CADS Instructors that are working with the students are the best in the county, all certified at a CADS Level 2, 3, or 4 with years of experience.There will be lessons for all levels from beginner all the way up to Black Diamond and Racing.  The cost for a Participant is $395 for lessons. This includes lessons every morning 9 am to 12 pm, lift pass for the week, and the Awards Banquet which is Thursday. Some individuals also ski in the afternoon.


The cost for an attendee who is not taking lessons or is an instructor is $60 and this covers the banquet. There will be reduced lift tickets available for the attendees. Pricing will be confirmed shortly. 


There is an Opening Ceremonies Sunday night, our Annual General Meeting is on Tuesday night, and Apres Ski Socials Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.


The Awards dinner and Silent Auction are on Thursday Night. 


All registrants receive a gift bag, an event pin, and a welcome gift upon registration.

Located right in the centre of the Kimberley Alpine Resort Village, just a step away from the Northstar high speed quad lift, the Polaris Lodge condos are equipped with kitchens, river rock fireplaces, and beautifully appointed bathrooms with jacuzzi bath tubs.


Polaris Lodge is also home to the Stemwinder's Pub, open during the winter season. Access to underground parking, fitness centre, swimming pool and other amenities located just next door at Trickle Creek Lodge.

Meet our friendly Mountain Host volunteers for a free tour of the mountain. No need to sign up, just show up at the Northstar Mountain Quad base area at 10:30 daily and look for the Hosts in yellow jackets. Guided tours start every day at 10:30am and 1:00pm.

Kimberley Alpine Resort's outdoor Skating Rink is located behind the Alpine Sport's Boutique and is open daily during the winter season, skates are available at the rental shop. Every Tuesday and Saturday Night from 6:00pm - 8:00pm keep warm by the fire.
